Influence of Cocaine on Blood Pressure Response of Rabbit to DMPP

Abstract
|

|
|
In rabbits, cocaine potentiated the pressor activity and inhibited the depressor activity of DMPP. Procaine did not affect the pressor response but reduced the depressor response to this compound. This suggested that the potentiating action of cocaine on the pressor effect of DMPP was not related to the inhibitory action on the depressor effect.
